Year 6 school camp

Ethnee has just returned from 3 nights on year 6 camp. We all missed her but she had a blast in Brisbane checking out the historic sites. Highlight was a trip to parliament and tour around. Note "Queen Seip" her teacher in the red chair.

The Ekka 2010

Mitch and the kids went to the Ekka last Saturday. They had a great time and even tried their hand at milking a cow. Note the lovely draft horse pulling RM's wagon - just like Brownie.

Ethnee's Birthday celebrations

Ethnee has had Birthday celebrations with Gran and Pa, Boydie and Lyla, a birthday at Nanny and Poppies (on the actual day) and the star cake when we got home. We actually forgot the star cake, on the visit to the farm but fortunately Nanny was prepared with cake.

We even had progressive lunch at South Bank on Friday. Teriyaki chicken sushi, chips, poffertjes, and pancakes with cream and maple syrup. Yum......... One of our old haunts when Ethnee was in Mater for 5 weeks - 11 years ago.

Quiet Sunday Afternoon

Ethnee is completing a collage for ther Japanese assignment and Ronan is making something from the recycle boxes. Afternoon tea is freshly made sponge cake and cream served with a nice strong coffee.
